On a very hot Greek day my dream came true.. My dream of seeing the Acropolis that is! Luckily for us, our dear friend Olga is an archaeologist and offered to give us a tour. It was so fantastic to visit with someone who has extensive knowledge of the long history of this special site. Often when you dream of visiting a place for a long time you feel disappointed when that dream comes true because you've built such great expectations in your longing. The Acropolis is not one of these places. The size, scale, and design of this structure along with how many things it has withstood in its life is marveling.
